The Black Public Relations Society-New York, Inc. (BPRS-NY) is ushering in a new era of excellence. Founded in the 1990s, BPRS-NY is an independent not-for-profit organization affiliated with the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS). We are the premier organization for Black professionals in public relations and related communications disciplines in New York.
Located in the top national and international media market, BPRS-NY is at the vanguard of dialogue and action focused on diversity & inclusion; impact & innovation. We engage and partner with top agencies, corporations, colleges and universities as well as our fellow professional associations to offer our members .
Our workshops, courses and symposia programming feature a range of original content, intimate meet & greets with industry leaders as well as traditional networking and access to opportunities. In addition to working to increase the ranks of Blacks employed, retained and promoted in the traditional environs -- agencies, corporations, nonprofits and government -- we also place an emphasis on providing strong support and resources for the entrepreneurial practitioner.
