Black Public Relations Society-New York

Black Public Relations Society-New York (BPRS-NY) is a knowledge, resource and opportunity network and membership organization for African American professionals and students engaged in the practice and study of public relations and related communications disciplines.

BPRS-NY advocates for diversity and inclusion at communications agencies and corporate departments. BPRS-NY also creates exposure opportunities for African American owned boutique firms, independent consultants and freelancers.

We provide meaningful professional development programming, peer-to-peer support and mentorship to our members. We also offer customized training and social emotional learning workshops to our agency and corporate partners and invaluable insights, thought leadership and customized and valuable insight and thought leadership to the communications trade media and the field as a whole.

BPRS-NY is an independent 501 (c) 3 organization affiliated with the National Black Pubic Relations Society (NBPRS).

BPRS-NY MEMBERSHIP

BPRS-NY membership includes junior, mid-level and senior executive staff at agencies and corporate communications departments as well as African American owners of boutique firms, consultants, freelancers and students.
